Interlinearizer tool

You can use this free online tool to make Interlinear texts, printable as PDF.

Each word(s) and translation pair need to be in a new lines, separated by a tab. To do so:

First, split the original text into one-word-per-line. You can use our splitter tool.

Second, paste the result of the splitting as one column in a spreadsheet.
Then add translations of each word as the second column.
Here is an example in Google spreadsheets (you can view or copy it).

Third, select and copy-paste the two columnd into the textarea, choose the options below and click on the button below!

You can copy-paste directly from Google spreadsheets or Excel.

output text orientation: left to right (European languages) right to left (Arabic, Hebrew, etc.)

output text size (15 is default):

Some additional pointers:

• The character | denotes a paragraph break.
• Allowed HTML entities: <b> </b> <i> </i> <u> </u> <ruby> </ruby> <rt> </rt> <rp> </rp>.
• The Interlinear text is processed but not saved on our server.
